Go to Pokemon/Content/Sounds/Cries and delete the cries with their Pokédex number.

Yes, try deleting 447 and 448.

Anyhow back to the issue. I suppose this issue should probably be tested? I'm going to try leveling Riolu and see what happens, like if it even gets friendship, and if it does, how much. Because I SHOULD have a Riolu with 228 happiness because it's leveled 14 times and was caught in a Friend Ball.

Keep checking the friendship with the script I gave you, after the events which should change it to confirm if it's changing anything, I also suggest testing vitamins.

I would....but I know for a fact Vitamins do nothing because Riolu already had lots of Vitamins, I believe it was 8. there's no reason Riolu's friendship shouldn't be above like 240 lol. I also don't have the money for another vitamin haha.

UPDATE: Riolu gained no friendship upon a level up.

I am thinking it's the Exp Share, but there's no way to tell without further testing with a pokemon not being trained using an Exp Share.

Very weird, my Riolu which is now Dastan's Lucario, evolved using a Exp. Share, but he already had max friendship tough.

and exp share is a little buggy, so i would try to just send in riolu first and then some other stronger pokemon (same for smasher)

@nilllzz problem found: Pokemon do not gain friendship upon level up at all.

Update: Upon further inspection, walking does not increase friendship either. However my Riolu's friendship is at 216 because of the Vitamins I gave it and nothing more.

I tried leveling my Poliwag without the an Exp Share involved, it leveled up. It had 70 Friendship before and after.

okay. can we use rare candies, a soothe bell, and/or any other freindship inducing thing that doesnt include level up (groomers, e.t.c....)? and i hope this will be fixed soon.

I'm not sure if a soothe bell is in game yet. Vitamins work just fine and in fact is the reason my Riolu doesn't have 200 Happiness and instead has 216. Rare candies, unless they directly give friendship, shouldn't increase it either. other forms of friendship increasing things should work just fine, like grooming.
