Only the person accepting the trade gets the evolution. The host of the trade, if they are requesting a pokemon that evolves, does not cause an evolution when they withdraw the pokemon.

Therefore, if you trade Kadabra for Kadabra, the person who initiated the trade will have a Kadabra, and the person who accepted it will have an Alakazam.
