I need to get my hands on a Mudkip to evolve it to swampert and complete my Ground team: Donphan, Mamoswine, Sandslash, Tyranitar(his pre-evo are both ground so it's ok?), Nidoking (have to evolve it too), and Swampert. it would be sooo beast...

mudkip won't be in until (probably) mid next year

I guess I'll have to use Quagsire or forget about it and use Dugtrio as spearhead...

Ttar is still technically not ground, using non typed pokemon as far as I understand is only ok with permission and even then only if you don't have enough of your type available in game to make a team.

The only types that may include non-typed team members at this point are Ghost and Dragon, both of which will have 4 fully evolved forms starting next version.
