Magikarp evolve?

I have a level 22 magikarp and was wondering when it evolves into a gyarados? I thought it was suppose to evolve at level 20?

There is a bug with this update that makes pokemon unable to evolve through battle. If you wish to get a gyrados, use a rare candy if you got it.

Aw no, evolving pokemon is one of the major reasons i was looking forward to playing. I've been working so hard on them. Ok. Well, thank you for your help. Hopefully they fix it soon.

thia Was a bug starting this update, if you want a gyrados, get the shiny one at lake of rage

the weekly should solve your problem.it will come soon in like a couple days, then you can evolve your magikarp. you can also get the shiny one at the lake of rage like @panguinix said. good luck! ;3 rai.

Thank you all for your info. I continued playing regardless of the bug knowing they would eventually fix this.
The updates have been great, continuously enjoying them all!
