Pokemon not in the pokedex cant be traded

After testing the new trade with another player it appears that at least riolu if not all pokemon not in gen 1 and 2 are able to be sent to players but cannot be withdrawn for some reason because the withdraw button does not appear.

 

[Exemplary]

This is bad because some pokeman (i.e. magmar) trade evolve into gen 4 pokemon
this means if your friend helps your magmar evolve, you cant get ur pokeman back
