Usually in pokemon games, under options there's Battle Style. You simply choose between Shift and Set. Shift is obviously being able to switch out pokemon. Set is not. So can you add this feuture? you currently have it permanently set to shift.

Also i haven't really noticed any difference with difficulty settings. I have it at 2, and im still fighting level 4 bellsprouts(trainer) at the tower. Might wanna fix that. And maybe instead of having it set as numbers, make like easy-normal-hard-very hard

i asked nilllzz how difficulty works (i had no part in its implementation) earlier today:
It just adds levels to the wild/trainer Pokémon so they are not that easy to defeat.
the wild pokemon levels are already random within a certain range so it may be possible to not notice it, but on hard you should face some higher levels. no idea why trainers would be the same. have you checked to see if difficulty is actually set in your save? what level do the trainers have on easy?

there is a slight difference in level, for that bellsprout example, it was lvl 3 on easy and lvl 4 on hard. First trainer in the gym has a level 9 on easy and 11 on hard.

sounds like its working fine then.

shift and set styles should probably have an option, though i have no dea why you would turn it off. maybe nilllzz can add one in 0.21?

I like the set-option, so I'm not tempted to just burst out my super-effective pokemon and have a walk in the park with the trainer, so good idea as far as I'm concerned.

i just tried to be underleveled all the way up to the elite 4 and kept most of my pokemon around the same level so using all the tools at your disposal was necessary instead of something you do if you want to stomp them

I think it's strange that you are asked to switch your pokemon after you know what other pokemon the trainer is going to choose, it gives you advantage so you can pick a pokemon that's super effective against the trainer's new Pokemon. It doesn't really add any difficulty for the Pokemon games. What I'm trying to say is that it's better to be set "Set" all the way, or at least get the chance to switch pokemon before you know what pokemon the trainer is going to choose. Just a thought.
