really that was one of the first places that were close to efficent as the elite 4,back in the day it wasnt added yet. instead of blackthorn city, but the elite 4 is really the most efficent UNLESS your not there yet. TIP************** If you just started out and having trouble with Falkner just train at the ruins of alphs until your starter evolves, you get a TON of exp that way from unkown which are very weak.

the unknowns are super nerfed now with the new xp system a level 10 pokemon gets something like 32 xp now

edit: still best place if u havent better falkner though

My Team: Ninetales, Arcanine, Rapidash. Typhlosion, Magmortar and Houndoom.
I have: Ninetales, Typhlosion and Magmortar.
I need: Arcanine, Rapidash and Houndoom.
I am looking for the best of the best regarding the Pokemon I want to use for my team, which means: A beneficial nature and good IVs.
I am willing to offer Daily Competition Pokemon for these.

Gengar with a paralysis-inducing attack... And pray for the best, which tends to happen with single-tipe teams and pretty specific pokemons.

Ignoring the fact that starmie will ohko gengar before it gets a chance to use an attack, I was referring specifically to the team he had listed, not asking about which poison types could best counter it. I was going to point out that a good monoteam needs to have pokes that can mitigate the teams biggest common weaknesses, such as drapion and skuntank which can get a free switch in on any psychic attack and hit it with a 3x phys on most psychic types weaker def stat.

The truth is that for now, I can't really do anything regarding the team's weakness. I was hoping the Gen IV Pokemon will be introduced before this league will be created (to get Drapion). For now, I will try to rely on Gengar's Hypnosis and Venusaur's Grass attacks. If you have any ideas regarding this, please tell me :3

For now, I will try to rely on Gengar's Hypnosis and Venusaur's Grass attacks. If you have any ideas regarding this, please tell me :3

As a Starmie user in X & Y, I could easily say that Starmie would blow Gengar into oblivion with a psychic, aswell as destroying Venusaur unless ev trained in sp. def.

hypnonis is no longer a viable move due to it's accuracy drop to (i think) 60%, besides if gengar did survive a hit from starmie (It won't) it could ohko it right back with shadow ball.
