most people are gonna pick a team that is all one type but have a variety of secondary types so they can be more competetive so its not surprising rock would look the same since there arent many in gen 1 and 2 that are something besides rock ground

because pikachu learns awesome moves. (and is fun to have a pre evolved and an evolved around. handy too.)
You can, actually, just level a Magneton in Mt.Mortar.

well ur gonna have to beat pika hes a mod so he should be electric gym leader at the start and u will be kind of at a disadvantage using 2 non evolved pokemon
