Playing online for now only means to be able to trade with other people and soon there will be a pvp system which you can probably only use online/maybe co-op

ok well lets say i connect to an online server to trade pokemon whats the server maxmium capacity of players and can i socialize like talk and stuff and would i be able to travel all of johto with online players?
