Shiny pokemans use the normal sprites.
So, how do we tell if pokemans are shiny?

Honestly with all the work put in I'd be surprised if even like 75% of the community didn't like it that they'd ditch it. I completely agree, I especially don't like the overworld sprites being used, I already thought they looked kind of lame, Charizard for example, his head is huge and bulky looking, just like most of them.I don't like the new battle system as much as the last one
its called giving feed back how are they supposed to know what the community likes and dont like if no one tells them. And the fact that it isnt complete yet is all the more reason to speak up nowcan you guys quit ranting? there wasn't even an update yet. oh and maybe you didn't notice, but it's still version 0.35. anything can happen
You're completely right in saying that. So are we just supposed to sit back and watch and HOPE it ends up as the way we like it? I think we have a much better chance of hopefully getting some sort of compromise if we speak up now BEFORE the work is finished rather than after when they've started on their next big project for the game.can you guys quit ranting? there wasn't even an update yet. oh and maybe you didn't notice, but it's still version 0.35. anything can happen
I can't speak for nilllzz but from having used the battle system myself i definately think you must use it atleast once before deciding on it yourselfYou're completely right in saying that. I enjoy Pokemon Stadium and Colosseum, haven't played Battle Revolution. I was fine with Colosseum and Stadium's battle style because you weren't out catching and training Pokemon (considering it was always a battle with a trainer), if I'm grinding to level up my Pokemon this would make the battle last like 3x longer, it's why I turned the animations off.I can't speak for nilllzz but from having used the battle system myself i definately think you must use it atleast once before deciding on it yourselfYou're completely right in saying that. I my self really liked the battle styles of the home console game(colleseum, Battle revolution, Stadium, etc) which is what this is trying to emulate
the only thing i don't like is having to use the lower res sprites but that is mostly because the old ones just didnt fit the system.
and right now, this system is something we feel needs to happen more than having the higher quality sprites
If it were a Choice to switch between the two... that would be great, but i'm affraid the battles will take a little longer to complete. As a compensation measure for today's problem, the Staff would update every day new entries called "Update Tracker", where we show new features of the upcoming updates.![]()
This time, we would like to show you a preview of the "New Battle System". The system isn't final and could have some changes. We hope that you like this video!
The battles are much faster now than they were in the other battle system. The thing is, if we shown you how quickly a battle can end with the new one, we wouldn't show people how it actaully looks very well. I too think it is a thing you should try out yourself, because while this is a small bit of what it looks like, the video doesn't show everything. I think many people dislike change, but eventually you guys will grow used to it, trust me.I enjoy Pokemon Stadium and Colosseum, haven't played Battle Revolution. Not to mention it general, seems really off in 2D, like I think I'd be okay with it in 3D but it looks really awkward to me.
I'll just have to take your word for it. I still think there should be an option to turn off the camera moving. The battles are much faster now than they were in the other battle system. If the issue is time then we can likely make it so you can choose not to animate moves(just like in the current version) but the moving camera and the change of sprite is likely to stayIf it were a Choice to switch between the two... that would be great, but i'm affraid the battles will take a little longer to complete. As a compensation measure for today's problem, the Staff would update every day new entries called "Update Tracker", where we show new features of the upcoming updates.![]()

Also, i'll miss the old battle animations and pokemon sprites.
It was a good idea though.
