Not a bug Fire type can be burned?

Rambomon

Pokémon Ranger
The burn status is evidently associated closely with theFire type, since most moves which can burn belong to this type, Pokémon of this type are immune to burns, and the Fire-type Pokémon exclusive Flame Body has a chance to burn on contact. - Bulbapedia

But if we use logic here, my Quilava has flames on his body and he didn't burn himself, but other pokemon's can do that just by spit...
Your logic sounded like: if you have flak jacket, this does not mean that bullets don't do damage or some kinda effect to you.

Yeah, I saw that when read second time about burn there, but how much I and my brother remember burn works in every game against Fire-type Pokemon.

Yeah, I know, I readed this somewhere today. There was written something like this: In gen 5 Fire type can't be burn, but in older gens they can.
If it's true, them they need fix this in P3D, if not them is normal.

Well overall its not a bug, Pokemon isnt meant to have logic as a small kid goes on a adventure and use animals to kill each other and a pokemon such as dragonite can fit into a small amount of space, proving all science wrong. Even in the future thats not possible.

Maybe part of its body solidifies?
I can't come up with an excuse for Onix though... You'd have to melt part of its body and that would need a blast burn.
