Option to Remove Weather (like snow)

Sometimes I have to play on a bad computer and the weather lags me and makes it almost unplayable.

I feel that Weather adds to the playing experience, and shouldn't be able to become removed.
However, if no lag is what you're after, then try setting your graphics to Fast; this will change the weather to an overlay on the screen rather than actual objects falling from the sky. I never lag when I switch to Fast.

I already have it on fast but this computer is really bad worse than a toaster powered by a potato

Does the weather change anything in-game? Like likeliness of certain pokemon appearing in the wild?

If it doesn't, then having an option to remove it shouldn't affect gameplay in my opinion.
If it does, it could still be "present" and shown in the Pokegear, but not displayed in the game.

I don't think it has anything to do with pokemon appearing, though weather effects might appear in battles later on.

Weather's random and depends on the month (unless you're on Route 33 or Lavender Town; always rains there).

What's your PC ?
Check if will lag with these options:
RenderDistance: Tiny
Graphics: Fast
Offset map quality: off

As for Weather, no this doesn't make Pokemon appear, but Seasons make NPC choose what type of Item they will give you. Wouldn't have thought this game would be hard to run unless yer on a Calculator

If it's just the season that affect's stuff, its already displayed in the PokeGear, so not really a need to display it in-game.

but yeah I agree, didn't think this game would have any problems running on most computers.

Personally really can't judge, I wouldn't know how this game runs, My PC was made to handle High spec'd games. XD

Haha, my old one wasn't at all, and I could barely play anything, but this game always worked fine with the appropriate options selected.

If your computer can't run with the lowest settings, it's time to upgrade. My old computer was basically a toaster. Did I complain? No. I built this one. It's a much better investment of your time.

I would like to take this moment to remind people that MOST people(who dont have a good computer) cannot just decide to go get a new computer, most people have the computer they do because they cannot afford to get a new one

Yes, and I realize that. But you can usually get at least some sort of upgrade, say more RAM, a better graphics card, etc.

the weather does look really annoying when you put graphics on fast, although my computer only lags when going into battle, and i'm getting a new one soon.
