THEY HAVE THEIR FAULTS TOO, BUT THE POKEMON AREN'T SO BAD THEY NEED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM BEING GIVEN AWESOME EVOLUTIONS. THAT'S STRAIGHT BULL. I agree the weaker should get mega'd, but not being focused on gen 1. That's ridiculous. Gen 1 is too old, so there are already better pokemon in other gens, you would have to boost all of gen 1. You can't just pick one weak pokemon in gen 1 to be boosted. Anyways, you seem like a genwunner. Not a crime to love gen 1 and 2 the best. But you think every other gen is awful, so whether you like it or not, your a genwunner.

Okay my favorite game at tops is Pokemon 2nd gen, 4th gen, and 5th gen. My absolute least favorite gen is 3rd gen. Of course 1st gen has some problems, but that's first gen...though the problem with first gen is psychic pokemon are really overpowered and psychic is a really powerful move,(mewtwo don't count cause he's a legendary I know) but the move can be really powerful make you confuse and all that. Not only that, Sabrina would given me the most trouble as I have no clue what her psychic pokemon are weak against other than ghost types, though ghost type moves AND many other psychic weaknesses are very few, so I pretty much have to give it my all. I DO like the 3rd gen pokemon but not the game itself. Does that make me genwunner? Because from what genwunners are is they preciously love first gen the most, they wouldn't try any other games but they value that game in absolute. I like every other game except gen 3. There are exceptions that I would make clear there are ups and downs from 3rd gen game.

Pros:
-Pokemon
-Natures
-Keeping the breeding mechanic
-Hazards
-Interesting Background/Enviroment/City

Cons:
-Making Types only towards one special attack or attack, this may cause some problems with a pokemon that has high attack use a type that only geared for special attack.
-Dark type moves special attack. NUMBER one reason of this problem, most of the psychic pokemon have high sp. def. It doesn't make sense since majority of the dark type pokemon are gear for physical attack.
-Day and Night<-This is a minor...but still it would've been nice they added that.
-Bad guys Ever since Team Magma's voice...I can never take Team Magma leader very seriously. Though Team Aqua leader, is an awesome pirate I'll give it that.
-Beauty Contest maybe way too easy.

Sure there are a bunch of the pros, but this is about pokemon battling, the reason why I love gen 4 is because it made up what 3rd gen had problems. It had a interesting storyline, the Doctor Who guy 'kindna' solves the mystery with you, the rival is hilarious and annoying at times, the split DIFFERENCE physical and special attack, the pokemon are incredibly unique, gen 5 is the same concept but it also gave the pokemon actual movement like real live movement. And I love most of the pokemon both gen 4 and 5. Even the garbage pokemon which I happily named him Totoro.

When gen 6 comes out I will love it, AND it will become my number one in my list of pokemon game.

I likethe Gen 3's Teams, but my list is pretty much the same, with Gen V being on top, Gen IV and Gen II tied, then Gen III, finally Gen I. One thing I hope for eventually is a further split with physical and special classes from types to a point where type matchups will differ depending on move class, like poison still not affecting Steel if it's a Special move, but doing 1/2 damage as a Physical move. This is just a personal thing. I always thought some matchups made no sense in some cases.

Ah... My favourite Pokémon... Too bad it will get lower Speed and more almost useless Special Attack, but I suppose it will have Base Speed between 100 and 90, not really bad because anyways Keldeo and Starme are faster and can OHKO him, unless it has a Yache Berry, and it's ablity will boost its Iron Tail to kill Fairies, that's maybe enough for me.
