Getting the game to start...

When I open the launcher and click 'start game' It brings me to the red kolben screen, I get a message saying "Pokemon has stopped working, windows is looking for a solution to the problem" and makes me close the program.
Last night, I repair/installed the microsoft .net 4.0 framework (and the other required software I can't think of the name right now) and I launched the game and it worked perfectly fine. Now today, I'm having the same problem. Any ideas on what could be going on?

I'm running Windows 7 and it's a fairly new computer, I don't have many programs on it so I don't know what could be causing this. :c It's really frustrating. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

Do you have XNA 4.0 installed? Is your sound working properly (check YouTube or something)?

Do you have XNA 4.0 installed? Is your sound working properly (check YouTube or something)?

Yes, I have XNA installed and my sound works fine.

Re download the game and launcher. Update your windows, you might need newer drivers. After all that reboot and try again. Have you installed any content pack for the game ?
