Mega Evolutions

For those of you who has not seen the news yet, you will be able to "mega evolve" your pokemon in X & Y. You will do this with a peculiar stone called the "Mega Stone"
We do not yet know if this applies to all of the pokemon, but doing this changes some pokemons ability while it changes other pokemon's types.

A gym leader called Koruni (japanese name) will help you with this somehow.

I'm fan of Mareep and evolutions and is one of my favorites Pokemon. Now Ampharos evolve to MegaAmpharos Electric/Dragon type Pokemon and that bring more fans for that Pokemon.
Blaziken now is be stronger them my number one favorite Pokemon Charizard, because evolve to MegaBlaziken.

Skeptical, but hopefully this ends out for the better. I guess this is one way to make other pokemon that needed evolutions to evolve.

Dont you guys think thas a little bit too much? Jus looking at this monstrous mega evolutions it seems to me that creators of pokemon just dont know what new to create, and now they are just making old stuff totally randomness.. well, its just my point of view ofcourse, but i believe these creapy addons to alreaady nice looking and cool pokemon are a little bit too much

First, people complain about pokemon having too little details, then this complain about them having much details... You guys are just never happy.

Well, i have never complained about any pokemon having too little details or something. There are very cool pokemon, and there are cute ones, or just simple ones. There are many kind of them already, which is more than enought for me to choose which is the famous or selse. And the main thing that i dont like in these evolutions, is that pokemon dont change at all, they only get something "cool" (in my case its strange) on top of them. Exept mewtwo ofcourse, this one is just a tragedy.. reminds me of Freeza form changing in dragon ball its silly.. but still, thats just my opinion, dont take it too sirious

These evolutions only by holding item inside battle, outside battle they normal again. That means if you want Mega Pokemon, you need give special on-hold item. So you no more can use Leftovers, type echanment items and etc.

At first I was really skeptical about the Mega Evolutions. But now I am really quite psyched about it!
