Rejected Special Pokemon Respawn

It would be great if Pokemon 3D had the feature added in pokemon Platinum, that each time you beat the Elite Four of the region, all special pokemon which you haven't caught respawns, such as:
Sudowoodo
Shiny Gyrados
All Legendaries
etc.

if you want to catch something you should save before hand and restart until you actually catch it

The only Pokémon I would respawn is Sudowoodo.
The legendaries are something special, you should be able to encounter them only once and it should be a challenge.
The Red Gyarados is part of the story, that won't work out quite well.

And I mean, Sudowoodo doesn't really need to respawn. It isnt that awesome
