Marill glitch

Earlier today I obtained a Marill from the GTS and had it evolve once the trade was complete. I find this a little odd since this isn't supposed to happen and is also not the first time I've had this happen and I think happened with a Marill the last time it happened too. Just look and no longer have the first one anymore though. First time glitch was with 0.34, I think.

You mean.... You got a Marill from the GTS and it evolved when you got it?

Hrmmm, seen this before.
The trade must've activated the evolution sequence despite not being a trade evolution.
