Where to catch a Charmander ??

Hi,
I was wondering where can I catch the starter pokemons from the Kanto region, like, bulbasaur, charmander and squirtle ??
They are in the game, but where can I catch them ?? Also, where can I catch Pikachu or Raichu ??

There is a way, but you can't catch one.
I don't recall that in any game you were ever able to catch a Raichu, a Pikachu however is something you can catch, but is not yet implemented in the game. (The route, that is.)

However, there are alternatives ways, though.
