Hi everyone , im new to this whole "chaining" stuff and i've been going at it for awhile now to catch my first shiny and im not even sure if im doing it right
or better yet is it possible to chain in pokemon3d ? If it is does anyone know any good chaining tutorials ?
Help would be appreciated :)

It's a bit tricky to know whether this is implemented or not.
I personally doubt it, but that may be because sometimes it just takes a long long time before you find what you need.

Let me try to summarize:
From what I've heard.
First, you find the Pokémon you want to get shiny, defeat that Pokémon.
Go atleast 4 blocks away and find another. If it is a different Pokémon, just run away, if it is the same Pokémon, also just run away. Repeat.

Breaking the chain = finding a Pokémon within the 4 blocks away from the last one/Finding a different shiny/leaving the area/defeating a different Pokémon. That's all I've heard.
