(0.34) levelling up eevee

whenever I level up the eevee recieved from Bill to lvl.21, the game crashes, I've tried this three different times now and it happens everytime... I saw some other posts regarding the same thing happening with eevee evolving, but I doubt my eevee wants to evolve into Umbreon the first time I level it up..

There are some problems with the files, it seems the bug is in lvling up eevee in general.
Don't lvl Eevee until 0.35, which... should be next week.
