Fixed Some bugs in 0_19_1

Hi, I've been playing some 0_19_1 with my friend tonight and here are some bugs that we encountered (I tried to take screenshots but...)

1: For some reason, when I'm in full screen mode, I can't take any screenshots. When I paste it in photoshop, it just shows blank.

2: In full screen, you don't see the "rename" button when catching a pokémon

3: When in co-op and you're both battling on the same map, you sometimes see the speech bubble with the red star in it (that normally hovers over the other player in the main map when he's in battle ) in the top right corner

4: You see the same speech bubble when a friend is fighting and you're in a town (I've seen this while I was in cherrygrove and new bark town). In new bark town, it appeared randomly in the blue sky

5: My Jigglypuff knew pound and defense curl from the start, yet learned pound again at lvl 9

6: I trained my totodile untill level 12 but still didn't learn anything but scratch (isn't he supposed to have tail whip from the start and learn water gun later on?)

7: When in Sprout tower: you go to the 1st floor, then the 2nd again, then the 1st floor again and then the 2nd floor once more. In that area, if you keep running forward from the ladder to the corner, the game automaticly crashes (happened to both my friend and myself). If you go one to the left after you come from the ladder and keep on walking forward, you get challenged by the sage and the game doesn't crash. However, the sage dissapears after you battle him.

8: On top of sprout tower: if you save after the rival cutscene and restart your game, your rival will be there once more and will say the same thing when he was watching Prof Elm's lab.

9: Gastly's basic move is Tackle, though he normally's only capable of Lick. But I guess a lot of moves aren't really implemented properly yet. It's a shame that Falkners pokémon wasn't capable of his famous Mud Slap move though...

That's all I can think of right now, I really enjoyed the update though the missing moves were a bit dissapointing. I hope this helps the development!

10: Totodile's info in the pokédex reads: "It's powerful are capable of..." . I think "fangs" or smt is missing.

11: When talking to certain npcs, instead of turning for example to the right to face them, you completely turn around to talk to them.

12: The little "_" still appears over totodile in battle (already reported but I thought this was fixed with the patch or smt)

Yeah, Falkner's Pokemon not having their moves implemented yet is why I'm not battling him yet. It'd be unfair because I can use Gastly and Geodude and beat him super easily, when he would normally be able to fight back.

Same here however the game has a build in screenshot function just hit F2 and it will make a screenshot which works fine for me.

1: With f2 you take screenshots that are saved in the "Pokemon" folder, isn't a "copy"

2: I have saw it

5: This are the attacks for jigglypuff:
Move|1,1
Move|9,1
Move|4,111
It's learns Pound twice, that's because the game doesn't recoon when the attacks is learned. It's a bug

6:Totodiles moves:

The sprite maker program calculated the image setting wrong. The black bar is the last line of pixels from the frame above the current one. I will fix the broken sprites that get reported or I find myself.

Two things. The 360 turnaround for trainer indeed does happen to me too. You gotta be looking a certain direction, either left or right of the trainer, but I can't remember. It does happen though.

As for the black line, I can say that I know for a fact that Cyndaquil has this issue.

What do you mean with the 360° thing? After turning, do you look at the trainer or not?

When the game obligate the player to move, it turns always to the same side, I think that is to the right, so, if you must watch to the left, the player turns 270° to the right instead of 90° to the left

this cracked me up when i figured it out the first time because p3d character's are like zoolander

4: My friend is out of town for a couple of weeks, so I can't ask him to do coop with me anymore. This is where I saw the speech bubble though:

7: When retrying the bug, it doesn't crash anymore for me. But, if I go to the exact same spot where I crashed, I always encounter a lvl 5 Rattata, even if I have repel on! I tried to take a screenshot of the corner I meant:

(It's actually one step to the left where the encounter with the rattata keeps occuring)

11: It happens to a couple npcs, can't remember which ones exactly since it happened quite some times. In this video at 6:14 you can see what I mean:


Some extra things I found out, not sure if these are all bugs or just need to be implemented yet:

-You can give a berry to a pokémon, yet it will not use it in battle.
-When trying to heal your pokémon with an oran berry while in battle, nothing will happen. Your pokémon will not be healed, but your turn will be skipped. You can't heal your pokémon with a berry outside the battle either.
-After you defeat a pokémons trainer, it doesn't ask you to switch pokémon.
-If you use a potion in battle and want to use another one, you have to search in your bag again where your potions are. What I mean is, that the system doesn't remember what item you last used in battle like in the original pokémon games.
-Repel works, though not Super or Max repel
-When my friend was healing at the pokécenter and I approached him from the back, his sprite turned to Red's sprite, though with blue clothes.

The crash in the second picture occurs if you are encountering a wild Pokémon while a trainer recognizes you (has nothing to do with the location ;) ). This is fixed now.
And the 360° thing is something I wanted to do a long time but it is a bit complicated because there are values from 0 to 2 * PI. If you want to turn to left, you have to go from 0 - 0.5 * PI to 1.5 * PI. I can probably get this done for the next update.

a quick note about the sprout tower bug with the rival. even if you win the error still occurs. specifically in my case, i beat the Elder and saved the game. exited and returned to the game and i had the same error seen as was reported when losing to the Elder. this is likely fixed in the same way but i wanted to put it out there.

add or subtract 90 degrees depending on what direction you wanna turn and if the value goes beyond a complete turn it wraps around (0+((rotation+turnamount)-a full circle) and if it goes under 0 it has to wrap around to a full circle to keep going

If it would be that simple...there are some other things going on (also with the Free Camera Mode where you cannot just substract a few degrees.). Also, the game swaps from 2 * PI to 0 at some points. That's the real problem.
