I might see your logic, but I'd still want the Daily feature, like in Pokémon Stadium 2, that gave you a random item each day. I really loved that feature.

That would be pretty cool, unless it's game breaking. It should be limited to Potions, Antiodtes, etc. Small and cheap items.

Yes, I meant the items from the chart in Pokémon Stadium 2 (excluding the Pokémon Dolls).

personally i found the idea that i could only get certain things as gifts REALLY STUPID but it sort of worked with the business model that you need more than 1 version to Catch Them All. however, i adore mystery gift as a concept. i'd love to see the G/S ball event from crystal in the game than having to get celebi through our generosity. an event to catch mew etc as end game post-trainer red content. this game is going to be a single game with the only other 'versions' being big mod projects, so we can put everything in here and add all the content we like.

however, if we get a master server going one day for freidns lists etc a once a day mystery gift thing would be fun to have. i dont know what we'd deliver via this service but i dont want it to be the only way you get things like celebi.
