Opinion On Fairy Type?

Yeah, to me, confusion is the worst, ug. It is the main reason why I don't use the move.
Congratulations! Third time's a charm, right?! xD

Confusion is quite annoying, yes. But just switch out afterwards since an Outrage will probably have made the opponent switch or do something nasty.

That is why most Dragonite/Garchomp run Lum Berry to cure themselves of the confusion afterwards :p

I am going off of the super accurate predictions that Pokebeach made when I say that Fairy Types are immune to Dragon Types.

Fairy Types:
Super Effective to : Dragon, Dark, and Fighting
Weak to: Poison and Steel
Immune to: Dragon
Types that resist it: Fire and Psychic
I really trust these predictions because everything Pokebeach has gotten from some 'inside source' has confirmed to be true so far. (source)

We don't base things off of predictions, it seems a little sketchy and those predictions seem a little overpowered but maybe plausible faerie lore-wise.

I'm not asking you to trust the predictions just yet, but they do seem very realistic type wise.

Steel = technology which tends to have a negative effect on nature (where most faeries live)
Poison pollutes said nature as well.

Fairy Types being strong against Dark Types (Evil Type in Japanese) may prove my point that faeries are using a justice-chaos type magic system. The advantage against Fighting Types may be similar to why Psychic Types are strong against Fighting Types; most Fighting Types resemble actual human skill--since the Fairy Type seems to stem from supernatural powers and magic, it would obviously have an advantage over the physical body. Likewise, the mind/magic similarities may be why Psychic Types resist the Fairy Type.

Fire Type resisting Fairy Type is a little harder to explain for me. The type needs another resistance since it is a terrible defensive typing along with Ice and Fighting.

I like the way you think.
You seem quite knowledgable about faeries. (I like the word faerie more than fairy.) Or just thinking on a logical way, I guess. Magic + logic? HAH. Yeah.... not one of my best quotes.

You chose wisely, the people here are great. Always helpful and amusing. I've found a lot of people I regularly talk to through these forums.
Just be sure to blend in properly. ;)

Perhaps Fire is resistant because it is a destructive force? I mean, it can cause damage on massive scales, and can not be easily controlled. Maybe, similar to the steel/poison reasons, fire destroys the environment. However, by that logic, it should be super effective rather than resistant... Oh well, we will just have to wait and see what the deal is :/
