I found myself at a wall. I am not too sure where this thread would best be put, so I'm putting it here.
I'm in the middle of creating a mod (a texture pack.). To create this texture pack, I am using someone Else's texture pack as a placeholder. I am erasing the texture they created and placing my own.
I really don't see how it would be a problem, as this is as if I'm taking an old painting, painting the board white and re-painting it, however If this would be a problem, I'll start fresh.
Bottom line, the reason I'm doing it that way is so I don't need to pinpoint every pixel.
In the end, every texture replaced would have been from me and not somebody else. I'm just making sure I'm not stealing.
