Youngster Ian when he talks to you on the phone mentions becoming a gym leader but that is what the other youngster in the route just after you get out of ilex talks to you about when you battle him.
EDIT: I can confirm both the above errors. Darkfire have you seen this? I think that's all I can spot to do with the pokegear but I posted some of the other errors I found in the Some bugs thread.
