As for the 8th one, this might take a while. From what I've heard, Blackthorn has a LOT of scripts and thus Blackthorn itself will be 1 update in a whole. When this will take place is unknown.

He's there to keep us from progressing to the next town I think, because the next town isn't available yet, but it might be on the coming update. :)
