Not a bug Violet City bug

This isn't so much a bug as a story issue. the game lets you battle the gym in Violet city before defeating sprout tower.

Yeah you could always do that in the original game i'm sure?

Yup, but it seems that most people do Sprout Tower first because it's good training for the Gym rather than facing wild Pokemon.

At least, that's what I do.

It's always been that way, when I was little I didn't know that you could battle in the tower, so I always faced the Gym leader and then left XD
