Lost my kadabra

Me and a friend tried to trade a Kadabra and a Graveler to evolve them and when we did the trade, he never got the Kadabra, i did got his Graveler but it didn't evolve, even when i traded it back to him for a rattata it didn't evolve.
My Kadabra was lvl 20 with modest nature (the best one i could think of for a kadabra), and neither of us can find him.
So now i'm supposed to get a new Abra, pray to get a decent nature and train him by changing pokemons again?
All i want is to get my Kadabra with the same nature back.

that was true, i was trying to trade my graveler whith his kadabra and then my graveler didnt evolve and his kadabra get lost

no, we both placed them in new trade at first, then we realized that we can trade with a specific player, yet at first, with the new trade i found his graveler but he didn't get my kadabra

it sounds like one of you typed the name wrong
that is what causes disappearances
but there might be another bug....
saddly I cant do anything for you to get the kadabra back

Also: You need to TRADE in the Friend Hub for them to evolve, sending doesn't do anything.

There are 2 trading hubs.
1 for Global and 1 for Friends.
Global (Orange portal.)goes all over the world and anyone can accept the trade, but the Friend Hub (Green portal.) is more specific. Person to person. It's how I do my trading buissness.

Oh so now evolving your pokemon by that way actually works? and does it work if the both of you are in a co-op match already?

Trade evolutions ONLY work through the Friend Hub, is what I've heard.
I think it should work if you are in a co-op with someone... Just use the Friend Hub.
