The Shiny that got away...

In Heartgold I found a shiny onix once on Mt Silver I tired to weaken it with my gyarados (the one from the lake) I didn't have any other pokemon that I thought were weak enough but I still knocked it out . Not my brightest idea but I didn't think I had a move that would have done the job oh well to be honest it looked kinda silly anyway.

When I first started playing I thought that the game was getting bugged so I was hurrying to kill them faster and was getting angry whenever I met them cuz I thought the game would crash . I facepalmed when I understood that those are actualy shinies and what shinies are.

I've read about someone's encounter where they saw a pidgey in the beginning of the game before they could even obtain pokeballs

i dont know if u know but you can "magicly" give ur self a shiny all u have to catch i zubat the open your profile up and open your party in notepad then find the pokemon and go over to shiny and take the 0 and replace it with a 1 the a shiny zubat for u it works on all pokemon

Yeah, but you can't edit your online profile though. Only works for offline saves.
