New guy question

Hello guys, i have one question, whitch might look a little bit stupid for you all, but i am new at this game and it seems fun, but i cant understand one thing - there are a lot water lakes or something like that, and i believe water pokemons are only found there. How can i walk into water? cant find a way to do it or answer to this question anywhere.. hope to get it from you guys! thank you.

There is a move that is called Surf which is obtainable after reaching Ecruteak City. Battle the Kimono girls in the Dance Theatre & then talk to the guy watching. To be able to use it, you must teach it to a pokemon which can learn it & then you need the Fog Badge from Morty, the gym leader in that town. Only then, will you be able to battle pokemon that is in the water, atleast until the fishing rods are implemented.

Oh, i see then. Thank you! one more question then: is it possible somethere to see a map, or teleport to any town? becouse walking long distances with weak pokemons appearing all the time is a little bit annoying.

You can look at maps in every pokemon center & you will eventually be able to use fly, which will work as a teleporter, but that is even further into the game than Surf is.

The Bike will eventually also be implemented to make traveling faster, but that is probably something they are not prioritizing.

Well, if it is your first time ever playing pokemon, i guess it could seem like a long game, but as it stands now, there are only about 7-10 hours of story, since it is a game inprogress, If you enjoy the game, I would sugguest considering buying the official re-make of this game, Pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver.

Rest assured, there will be lots of more content comming. Once you are able to defeat the Champion, you will eventually be able to travel to a "new" region, called Kanto & battle 8 more gyms there aswell as some more story gameplay. I believe Gold/Silver has the biggest world-map of the games.

Oh i see. Thanks for information! But i am not the one who buys games, just playing it for fun few more questions if you dont mind and will have time to answer: what is the possibilities to find pokemons like pikachu, bulbasour or something like that, i mean better than ratatas, hoothhoots(had 6 of them in a row)? how to know what task is the next one in story if ive forgot it?

As it stands now, the chanses of Justin Bieber releasing a good song is greater than finding a wild pikachu. They can only be caught in Viridian forest, which is in Kanto & quite a bit into Kanto aswell, as for bulbasaur & such, you cannot find any starters in the wild.

this game is still fun and i would like to keep playing it. One more question for you guys if dont mind: is it possible somewhere to find a list of pokemons found in the wild and the places i can find them with possibilities?

There's a list of the pokemon that are available, those in red are unavailable. But the list is a little outdated at times. Some pokemon have been made available via the daily giveaway, so if you check this thread:

Have you been to Goldenrod city? You get the third badge when you defeat Goldenrod city's gymleader, Whitney.

yeah, ive been there now when ive played new game while online, i was asked to call Mr.Elm when Togepi will scratch from the egg. Maybe that is what should i have done before. But then a new question appears for me, how to call him?
