Damn it. I had hoped we would at least get a little while longer until our GTS devolved to the state of the handheld's.

Aye, they need to lock the files. Or make 2 seperate files. (1 for offline, which will be editable and 1 for online, which won't be editable.)

I thought the online file was already locked. Wasn't that the entire point of the switch a couple of weeks back?
Well, the save itself is lock, the thing that isn't locked are the scripts of the game.
The offline and online game run on the same files, and thus editing the scripts in your local folders would also effect the online game-play.

apperently the coding isn't locked (file wise) and Before I saw this first eeveelution, I could sense files weren't like they should be but didn't try it out (peeps can hack a lot of stuff too...) (evo stones etc...)
its no longer cool to hack such things or it will never be cool by My standards

I remember seeing the guy on the ground floor of the rocket hideout in Mahogany town selling slowpoketails, but I don't remember the price but I think they were affordable. So I don't think that's cheating.

Huh, that makes sense. I guess you can't really expect the player to redownload the 80Mb or so file again every time they want to play.

I will admit, if the game gets completely locked. (Re-coded so it can't be edited unless the person knows what he/she is doing.) And the person still manages to hack it, then I find it pretty cool. Aslong as he doesn't abuse it.
