ninjacat I used it to replace my old sprite its possible to do it via gamejolt id wise
you need to replace the appropriate sprite with the one you want

male is the left number
goto /pokemon/content/textures/NPC/ find the <filename>.xnb
delete it
find another sprite to use and name it <filename>.png or .xnb(depending on the sprites format format

I chose this replaced my old pokefan one with this one and bam it worked
