Permanent Surf sprite glitch and GTS gamejolt issue

Hey everybody! So I was fighting the Red Gyrados and whited out, ever since then my character sprite is croconaw, which is kind of cool, Since it's a pokemon being followed by his own pokemon, (haunter). However it would be nice to fix this. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so have they found a way to revert back to their human sprite?

Second issue:

I just created a Gamejolt profile so that I could trade pokemon, but when I go into the pokemon GTS it says that I'm not using my gamejolt profile and to go to the menu and select "play online" When I do that it starts me at the begining of the game as some kid. What the hell? So do you have to start over if you want to be able to trade? Or is there a way to use my current save file, I am not investing that time all over again.

Could you provide us with a screenshot of this? In-game press: f2
F3 for third person.

Yes. If you want to trade and access the online features, you'll have start all over again. Many of us have done the so. Simply because we don't want to have a possibility of there being hacked Pokémon.
In the offline/local save you play on now, you can simply generate all the Pokémon you want and progress through the story like it's cake. ^^

there won't be a log for this one
the issue is is it didn't actually recognize you as having made it back to land
since this is your offline save you can fix this issue by going to /pokemon/save/<savename>/player.dat
open it in notepad
find the line named skin
change the skin listed there to Ethan or Lyra or whatever your sprite was before

Lol, yup at least 40 duplicated error messages... Well it's depressing that I'll have to start over to trade pokemon... So I'll probably take a break for a while. I hate having to redo the same crap over especially when I work full time so any spare time I get is valuable, I basically just threw a phew evenings away for nothing. But at least in doing so I discovered a glitch!

Honestly, now that you've had a pretty good look on the game and how it works, what do you think of it? ;) I am curious.

Well if they're not associated with the sprite issue there was some kind of error anyways. Not that it matters, I'll be restarting soon.

You better restart faster. Darkfire is giving away some pretty nice pokes in the daily competition. Plus you'll be able to trade and possibly catch some pokes you missed.
