Friend Hub and Trade Evolution question

I hear that trade evolution are added, but I also wonder if simply giving a pokemon to somebody without the trade will also evolve it?

I'd try it but I'm still at Rt 29. Only just realized a new update dropped, and I might be able to play.

I'm a Rank 5 Preschooler now. Used to be a Bug Catcher. Does that help?

new set of ranks is now applied
they use the gen 5 sprites

They work and I've gone back down to youngster (a change in the ranks I'm guessing).

Trade evolutions work:
I traded in the friend hub with MrHippocrit
Got 1 pokemon 1 evolve at a time
And trading back my old golem w/ his pokemon got his poke to evolve

Wiki is behind by alot atm......
we are working to catch it up but it takes time...I really need a wiki only group to help out
but atm we have membership locked b/c spam bots

I see, I do no have any experience writing a wiki article, but I can at least guarantee that I am not one of those people who spams weird nonsense. I also need to read the correct information for this game just like any other players
