How's that going to fix anything? That would just make them mad enough to make a new account and spam the GTS with ho oh's for ratata's.

well I'm not leaving yet (I love the game it has potential but they have to make some updates to the gts and new coding also wouldn't hurt either) but at least don't make us start over (might we have to or not)

they had to script the events to get that pokemon in
and we will be locking scripts/maps(with hash codes and for online saves only) in the semi near future
at that point these things wont happen

Look, to fix this problem, they would probably have to either make offline mode uneditable and lock the script files and having to re-write it everytime a new update would come out. They don't do that, they simply add new files.

They either lock it all up and make NOTHING editable at all.
Or.
They make 2 options:
When you download the version, you can choose to download either the offline version or the online version.
The online version requires Gamejolt like it does now. But it will run on different files. Or locked files, one may call them. They lock everything and you will not be able to touch them. (Except for people who know their way around these type of things. )
The offline version is like it is at the moment. Completely editable but without access to the GTS. (Maybe Hamachi trading.)

I am not good with these things, so... I guess it's a easier said than done.

Sent the egg. I think it's a female dratini, for some reason the GTS and FTS always show me the gender of the egg when I put it up for trade.
