Not a bug Trading Issues (0.32)

With the new update 0.32 i can not use the global trade station in my original save any more. The only way i can really trade is if i play online. The only problem with that is, i have to start up a whole new save. Why can't i just be able to continue trading in my original save? i really do not want to have to re start my game just to do some trading.

Plus, you cant edit pokemons in online save.
