Game Upcoming Changes to Multiplayer, Gamejolt

I'm not sure how long that would actually take to go through all of the saves and just clean them up. You also have to think that not all of those saves are gamejolt saves.

I'm not even sure if it's possible with gamejolt saves, I'm no expert, nor do I have any experience whatsoever with stuff like that.

we can't police local saves except by making updates come with a list of naughty boys and girls who would load into their character to find their ill gotten gains were removed. it'd be too hard. cloud saves we have complete control over. programs can be made to simplify the process

Yes and no.
They are able to make your save that you now have, into an ''Online'' save in the next update.
They chose not to do so since there are still chances of non-legit Pokémon and what not. By not doing this, it saves up time and less trouble finding out which Pokémon are legit or not. (I think that's what he meant.)

so do i have to log out from gamejolt to edit my files, because now i am not able to edit them. i wanted to "update" an ability and to evolve my nidorino into nidoking (because stones arent working, yet) and then dissapeared 3 of my pokeymans

No worries at all. Glad I could help.

At the moment, being logged in or out of Gamejolt really doesn't matter. Gamejolt is only there for the GTS (Trade).

It seems you've been messing with the codes without really knowing what you were doing. It's not hard to fix.

Go into your party.dat file > find a code that looks like (Not the exact same code, just something that looks like it.) this:
{"Store"[63332451891181401972011391550234139493171]}
Every Pokémon has such a code, delete that code. Save the file and LOAD into your save. Your Pokémon should be back.

no no, thank you, that you want to help me, but actually i know, what ive been doing, ive done this like 1000 times, but after 40&41 have been added, i wasnt not longer able to make this, ive already made a backup file and i just had to copy and paste

True, I should've prepared myself for something like this. I really don't feel like playing at the moment since I've spent a loooooooot of time into this ''offline'' save. My Pokedex has been growing at an amazing rate and it felt good to have that. :3

The only thing I don't like is that I have to connect to Gamejolt and have internet acces to play on the ''Main Character'', since there might be times where there is a proxy or no internet, you can't progress with your Main Char and all you can do is play the offline save.

Well that's a good reason to just keep playing your offline save as a backup. It just happens to be that it'll be your more used save, for now at least. I'm just choosing not to play right now mainly because I just finished getting the first badge after losing my original save from some unknown reason. I'll be likely to play multiplayer more anyways.

The save you have at this very moment is an ''Offline'' save. Which means you won't be able to use the online features and you will have to make a new save and start over again to acces to the online features.

They are able to converse the saves we have now into the online saves, but they chose not to since there are chances of n0n-legit Pokémon and they don't want to go through the files to find out which Pokémon are legit or not.

My understanding of it is that everyone will need to create a new save, regardless of having a save synced with Gamejolt, because the amount of time required to go through all the synced saves is too much, they'd probably miss a few things anyways, and hacked Pokemon can be made to look completely legit.

The one you have NOW in this version and day. Will be editable in the next update BUT will be in offline mode and thus you won't be able to profit from most of the Online features. How the editing works, I am not too sure about that since they might change that. I suggest not messing with the codes unless you know what to do.

To get acces to the online features, you'll have to make another account and those files are editable.

Correction: The account which HAS acces to the online features are NOT editable. Left out a word there.
