Yes and no.I'm not sure how long that would actually take to go through all of the saves and just clean them up. You also have to think that not all of those saves are gamejolt saves.
I'm not even sure if it's possible with gamejolt saves, I'm no expert, nor do I have any experience whatsoever with stuff like that.I figured as much with the local saves, just didn't know about the gamejolt ones. So is it possible to still carry over the gamejolt saves? If not, completely understandable.we can't police local saves except by making updates come with a list of naughty boys and girls who would load into their character to find their ill gotten gains were removed. it'd be too hard. cloud saves we have complete control over. programs can be made to simplify the process
They are able to make your save that you now have, into an ''Online'' save in the next update.
They chose not to do so since there are still chances of non-legit Pokémon and what not. By not doing this, it saves up time and less trouble finding out which Pokémon are legit or not. (I think that's what he meant.)
