I am not sure if this is true in this game/version, but there might be a higher chance at getting a shiny when breeding it with shinies. ^^ (I've read that in the original g/s/c they chances of getting a shiny when breeding is higher, thus I thought maybe it's like that in here.)

Umbreon and Espeon evolutions work now? Also, you can add me on the list for can breed Murkrow, Lapras and Magikarp but I doubt that really adds anything.

And yes, they work. I've asked Nilllzz. If you don't feel like trying it the legit way, try it out on offline mode. (Offline mode is only there to try out things. Or atleast, it feels like it. xD )

In Gen II, the chance of getting a shiny by having a parent shiny could be brought up as high as 1/64.

Other than that, there wasn't really any easy way to get a shiny unless you considered five or six fold increases to be reasonably useful, which I do not.

Would have worked even better I think. In Gen 2 Shinyness was determined by DVs. Since breeding passes on DVs, (IVs now) Shiny parents had a decent chance of passing on the 'shiny' DVs. Nowdays shinyness is totally unrelated to IVs, so I don't think shinyness can be passed down any more, except if you count the Matsuda mexthod.

MrHippocrit any chance I could grab a squirtle egg? I want a water type and I don't think politoed will be available for a while (no kings rock) so I should probably get a good water type. I don't have much to offer in return but I am looking for good IV dittos and currently my best one has 29-31 IV's in attack/speed and 21-28 IV's in spdef. I'm assuming you have the semi-rare pokemon like aipom, pineco, yanma etc so I doubt you'll want those pokemon.

I haven't talked to bill yet to get the friend hub working (don't know if I need to do that before you can send me an egg) but my gamejolt ID is nickrox

Thanks man, hopefully once school gets done I'll be able to help with the breeding some :)
