Fair enough. I am decently close to being up-to-date with my progression. I am about to go to Jasmine in the Light tower thingy and then I'll have to surf across and beat chuck with my Kadabra. Then JAsmine's gym and then..... Lake. Of. Rage. Heck yes. :3

I've also got a Totodile, but I won a Shiny Chikorita from the Daily Competition too, I'll talk to Dark about it when I get to Goldenrod. (Yeah I started another game, I still have the offline one too.) If I'm correct, when you breed the Red Gyrados, you get Golden Magikarp, which lead to Golden Gyrados.

I am not sure if the chances of the offspring being a shiny is higher when breeding a shiny Pokémon.... and wait.... Golden Gyarados? What are you talking about? xD

shiny gyarados is always red and shiny magikarp is always gold

shiny gyarados is always red and shiny magikarp is always gold

Thanks for clarifying that, now quick question. If you hatch an egg from a shiny Gyrados, does a shiny Magikarp come out?
