As someone who has a very large number of eggs in their box, I find the current system difficult to use. I have no way of telling the eggs apart. If the eggs were color coded based on their type and displayed the national pokedex number of the Pokemon, it would be much more user friendly.

the reason eggs are like that is its supposed to be a mystery what the egg is so it kinda forces you to not have a ton of eggs or to have a box with the name of the pokemon in the egg or to not ever box eggs I always hatch eggs and I keep myself to only have a max of 20 eggs at a time and its there also so you can troll people over the GTS by saying its a dratini egg or starter egg or some pokemon that's hard to get and its really a ratatata egg ;) and a breeder that cant get past the point that eggs all look the same and how long they take to hatch shouldn't be a breeder

Actually the eggs in GTS state what they are and there's no mystery about it, I can go walk over to GTS to find out the ID and gender. Irl, eggs do not look the same, even within the same species or sub-species, and labeling isn't possible like it would be irl.(Pretending all Pokemon are somehow reptiles) Organization should always be desirable over entropy.

I meant the Nintendo GTS with the trolling and how it is in the games it should be the same here so its more like the actual game in all the games (havnt played BW yet) the eggs have been a mystery so all mysterios unless you know what they were breeded from and what moves the father knows and the nature the mother has you can know pretty much exactly what you will get from them

Honestly, the Nintendo GTS drove me nuts. As far as labeling boxes goes, that would be useful if I could. Boxes are currently just numbered.

yes but I have a paper that wrote on that has the box #=name of pkmn so I know whats what in pkmn 3d
and each pokemon having a egg sprite would ruin the fun of eggs I usually give my friends random eggs from my boxes and surprise them with what they get so if they all had an egg sprite there would be no surprise when they hatch and thad would call for an extra 649 sprites to the game
you are right there could be more variety to eggs like random colors and shapes slighty different but colors and shapes would not correspond to a pokemon or type they could just be random
