Ah ok. So they were probably random. Thanks for checking man.Dragonair: {"DVs"[23,5,28,13,9,22]}Open the party.dat/daycare.dat/box.dat file, depending on where it is, and look at the section that says DVs.

Ah, fair enough.its a translation of ivs set: hp/att/def/sp att/spdef/speed iv's
Or something like that for gens 1 and 2
Iv's were introduced in gen 3
Well, three IVs are inherited from the parents, the other three are random, so if you have a perfect IV breeder, at least 3 IVs of the babies will be 31(pretending both parents have perfect IVs). Later in game, I assume they'll implement the system where you can pick at least one of the IVs to always get passed.... What.... do they mean..... ._. And yes, since it was bred.Ah ok. Ahhh!! I get it, sort of.Well, three IVs are inherited from the parents, the other three are random, so if you have a perfect IV breeder, at least 3 IVs of the babies will be 31(pretending both parents have perfect IVs). Anyways, IVs are basically the genetics of the Pokemon. In competitive breeding, you try to get 31s in three IVs that you want. For example, if I was breeding Abras, I'd probably try to get 31s in HP, Sp Atk and Speed. You can look up for the formula for how they affect the stats if you'd like.
The next big things are EVs which are effort values. Those come from vitamins(you can't pass 50 or 100 though, and EV maxes at 252), defeating Pokemon(each Pokemon has a different amount and type of EV it gives, so you can just attack the Pokemon that give you the ones you want), and by using wings(can get all the way to 252 but this would take forever to get that many wings as each only gives +1).
The last two are nature and ability. Nature can not affect stats or raise one by 10% and lower another by 10%. These can be passed down selectively using a held item. Of course, ability is the last but can be very important depending on what you're trying to make. For example, for Aggron, giving it head smash(which comes from cross-breeding) and rock head allow it to use a 150 base atk move without recoil.
Good news: scyther hatched a girl bad news the nature hates me I'll breed it with my male cyndiquill I got from trade (to make another female scyther w/ technician) then use that for my team and breed another for trade probballyAhhh!! A new door of Pokémon has opened in front of me... I got kicked inside and I will just have to take in everything I can to be able to survive all this information!
It sounds quite ... stressing but fun aswell. Making the PERFECT Pokémon.![]()

If you could post the info for him from the .dat file it would help. The only thing is, there aren't anymore up for trade in GTS. If I opened it up and saw another 5 up for trade, I'd say it was a copy, but with only two I'm not sure. I'm also pretty sure it wasn't up when when I got mine, since mine was the only one up at the time. It could be that someone's just trading and then reverting saves.yep lucky me and lucky you wait... Didn't mr get a shiny bayleaf also check w/ him to see if its the same

Yeah, when the shiny chikorita was the prize, someone got it before me, but it was a male Chikorita while Darkfire posted that it was a female. The winner had to put it up for another Chikorita and trade it with Darkfire's REAL chikorita but someone ''stole'' it before he could and thus he won a free shiny Chikorita and is probably copying those codes, etc, etc. But that one was a male.... Aw well, he could've changed it to a female one.yep lucky me and lucky you wait... Didn't mr get a shiny bayleaf also check w/ him to see if its the same
