Not a bug Game won't actually launch?

Okay, so this is my first time playing, and I just downloaded the most recent launcher and installed the update. But when I click start, the launcher just closes and doesn't open the game. I've tried running as administrator, reinstalling, etc, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

are you running pokemon.exe or pokemon3d.exe?
should be the second one

try retyping the .exe part
Or redownload the game?
