Does anybody think 5th gen was a failure?
I do.
Have you even played 5th gen ever?
I have, I played even the first gen Pokemon Red, so far I like pokemon 5th gen because the pokemon have their own battle stances. What I really like about is you can click on their sprite to see the front and back of them, sure it has an okay storyline in Black 2 or White 2, but from what heard about Pokemon black and white they have plot like it's predecessors. I find it even funny that one of goons even called your rival having a quilfish for a hair(That's from pokemon black 2) and even funnier that one the kids wanted to grow up to be a pokemon.
And this is coming from a girl who plays the first generation of pokemon. While fifth gen is a good pokemon game, I do like 4 generation because like I explained to people who dislike the newer pokemon and games because of being close to what they think is a good game(Seriously, I do like playing pokemon red, but sometimes I feel that psychic pokemon are too overpowered in that game, not only that if you knew rock/ground have a weakness to 4times from grass and water of course you're going to take advantage of that situation, and you knew rock/ground would be really bad against grass and water type). I think there's room for improvements for newer gens, sure there's weird pokemon so is the first pokemon. You got diglett, ditto, magnamites, tangela, slowpoke, psyduck.
Now is pokemon 5th gen is considered my favorite gen game? Yes one of them, it is actually my 3rd place for Pokemon games. First favorite gen is pokemon 4th(because it splits the types into physical, mental, and status which is much easier to understand than 3rd gen, because well...dark types and many other pokemon types that are mainly physical or special attack are opposite of what they're good at ), then 2nd place is 2nd gen(it is alot more fun, visiting both Johto and Kanto, have pokemon follow you around around the 4th gen time). I think pokemon third gen is okay, it's good but it's not bad; it's just not considered to be my favorite gen due to confusing complications specific types for physical and mental moves.
Sorry for the huge wall of text, but I feel offensive if anyone considers 5th gen is a failure. And as a girl who plays pokemon red I am wanting to try the 6th gen and already excited of the new pokemon that are released for it.
