Fixed Stat Error when leveling

When my kakuna grew from level 7 to level 8, it received a stat bonus of -1 to Def. Screenshot is attached. (I know my charmander is out, my kakuna was receiving xp due to another glitch that has already been reported.)

yikes. thats a bit of a bug lol. did you make any changes to your party.dat?

if not maybe nilllzz code for calculating the EV stuff can go into negative numbers in some cases? *shrugs*

its a shame you couldnt have known it would happen otherwise it'd be cool if we had screenshots of the stats before and after the level, the -1 might just be a bug in that stat summary thing you get and not actually taken 1 def away, but it's pretty hard to tell now haha

hmm i dont know if that'd be an issue because unless the ev for def is negative or something the leveling stats stuff all happens in the game, the saves are just data for it to use, so updates to that would work for old saves

now im curious, can you post your party.dat, OP? its in /pokemon/saves/your character's name/party.dat, its just a text file, copy paste the contents here

I haven't made any changes to party.dat or even opened it before now.
I'm using version 0.18_1, which is the same version I started with.

are FPs meant to change? because FP field/EV yield for kakuna is +2 def. afaik "DV" is your actual effort value
