This sounds like it would be better suited for a gamemode than an official update.

WTF
and you should add veteran
because this is a class of dragons and you added none dragon type class
most of the classes listed in that list i already have listed. i don't plan on making a class for everyone of them because i'm focusing on type bonuses, it hard enough having 17 classes, we dont need 20 more!

also remember that we are playing through the Crystsal storyline, veterans didnt exist here, so im not including any classes that didnt exist in the GSC games so as to keep with the storyline

I think the breeder class would be unlocked after the second tier if u capture enough pokemon on the first go round. After that you start with a ditto, all other pokemon cap 10 lvls below ditto and you're not allowed to use legendaries

This class system is pointless.

Nobody plays a pokemon game using only 1 or 2 types unless they are doing a challenge run.

Also nobody is going to play through a pokemon game 4 times to unlock the best class.

There is a very thin line between fair and overpowered in pokemon. If I were to create a class for more than two types at once that would be a huge advantage.

So what if its only one type? Do you not choose to be an archer or a warrior in RPGs? Are you not usually restricted to one specialization? The point of these classes is not to restrict you to one type but give you an advantage in one type over others this allows a player to play the vanilla story line but with an interesting handicap (both good and bad).

Imagine if you were to choose firebreather as a class, naturally you are inclined to begin with a fire starter. From that point forward your game is already dramatically different, you are already better off than most people starting off with a fire starter, however now you also have the advantage of have a burn resistant party overall. It won't come to use all the time, but when it does its very useful.

That's the point of the classes, yes they aren't supposed to make a huge difference, but when they do make a difference it usually helps a lot. I designed these classes not to create a new pokemon experience altogether but to supplement the one we already have. These classes are like hold items or abilities, they give small boosts for specific pokemon without ruining the game for others

also dont come to me with that whole, 'nobody wants to replay a game' stuff.
we've been replaying the same pokemon game for 17 years, the only difference is how the pokemon look and what the map is like, replay value is something pokemon has been thriving on since day one

all pokemon is, is a game of rock paper scissors, but with an HP system. what classes do, just like abilities and natures, is enhance one of the types, make its strengths stronger, and it's weaknesses weaker.

at the end of the day, rock is still beaten by paper, and still kicks scissors ass.

i dont understand, it seems rather ironic that normally you chose a starter who determines how you play the game. All other pokemon u use are built around that 1 starter. When you've been playong pokemon g/s/c since 2000 vanilla is no longer a challenge.
Also nobody is going to play through a pokemon game 4 times to unlock the best class.
Seriously, He said 4 times:hilarious:

lets see:
red blue - same game, most people play both so: replay amount 2
yellow is oddity but basically red blue: replay amount 3
firered leafgreen, same thing different graphics and whatnot: replay amount 5
you replay the same story line 5 times, 1 for each game

gold silver crystal same game: replay amount 3
HG and SS same game as before with better graphics: replay amount 5
replay same storyline 5 times, 1 for each game

ruby sapphire emerald same game: replay amount 3
Diamon pearl platinum: replay 3

black and white and their sequels similar: replay amount 4
this one doesnt even have a special 3rd version in it's series yet manages to pull of 4 instances of similar storylines

how many times have you replayed the same basic storyline(get starter, have rival, fight gyms, fight elite four)
final replay count: 20
you've essentially played the same damn game 20 times. with the only differences being pokemon, graphics, and added things like abilities.

Sounds cool but it would take awhile to get to say Pikachu. After playing the main story once or twice ill probably get bored of it.
