Just imagine a hippo infestation in your roof...

Imagine all these are hippos, but instead of eating wood, they eat your cookie supplies. And they don't even leave some for you... how rude.

All of them... except the oatmeal ones, they seem to dislike those ones. That is why Pika has coated Pika's house in oatmeal cookies to ward off evil hippos that eat Pika's other delicious cookies. (Mainly Macadamia and other various nut filled cookies)
