Introducing, the fresh prince of Viridian Forest

Now, this is a story all about how
Pika's life got flipped-turned upside down
And Pika'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
Pika'll tell you how Pika became the prince of a Forest called Viridian.

In west Kanto born and raised
On the trees was where Pika spent most of Pika's days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some berry-ball outside of the grove
When a couple of Weedles who were up to no good
Started making trouble in Pika's neighborhood
Pika got in one little fight and Pika's mummachu got scared
