I love how Lord Of The Flies is a dark deconstruction of Coral Island, Coral Island is about boys getting along on a stranded island and how Rosseau was right (not my favorie thing). Lord Of The Flies is about a group of boys fighting each other, going utterly insane as the story progresses, and Hobbes was right (I prefer a story like this, personally).
So... What books have you read that are great?
