Well...It's time... for the Screenshot Lp of Saints Row IV (This episode won't contain Cussing or anything else NSFW for now, but it contains anger.)
First thing I'd like to get off my chest is that I'm using a mod that enhances my game (link here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/npc-behaviour-and-spawn-mod) and makes it harder, however my hate was in the original vanilla version as well. Anyways on to the episode.
For some reason I was allowed to play this mission despite me beating every mission, this "mission start" marker appeared here for no reason despite me not being allowed to replay missions. But I still was able to play this mission. If only I couldn't
Basically what happens is that you lose your superpowers (if I didn't already disable my superpowers so that I would enjoy cars more) and Ben King and Pierce leaves in a car and you're going up a roof for a chopper.
You protect King and Pierce when suddenly..
You then land on Super ethical reality climax. whoop-di-frigging doo.
This is the redeeming feature of this mission, but it is pale to what happens next, you kill stuff, then you kill genki (well, he's practically immortal so he doesn't die. It's fun so I don't care much about that. What makes my blood boil (and the main feature of this episode) is what happens next...
This is the most insulting part of the mission, you have to get away from the Zin, but you can't drive (Kinzie is driving), you are constantly moving so you at best have a subpar aim, and the tanks are what solidify my hatred for this mission. you can, at best, take one hit from tanks, and there's 4 of them, you either have to get lucky and hope you (or rather, Kinzie) miss it. or you have to Luck based shoot it, I shot the missile numerous times and I still got hit. I got killed more then the number dlc missions, main missions, loyalty missions, and side quests combined. Whoever thought that this was a good idea shall be throttled by yours truly. I am so angry that I want to punch the person who designed this mission in the face. THIS MISSION CAN ROT AND BE SPIT UP IN AN LJN GAME, THE FINAL MISSION WHICH HAD A SIMILAR FEATURE, WAS EASIER. WHY IS THE FINAL MISSION EASIER THEN AN EARLIER MISSION IN THE GAME!?!?!? I AM GONNA SUPLEX SOMEBODY HEAD FIRST, THEY WILL BE HOSPITALIZED BY MY SHEAR HATRED.
I stopped playing by this point, what happened was that Kinzie got kidnapped by Zinyak, you fend off aliens, and Keith David betrays you. The next mission is much better and doesn't cause my sanity to plummet, if I didn't sound angry, I'll just say that I was mad as hell. It is a blemish on an otherwise perfect game.
