goto your save folder
find register.dat
delete the words about trainer_ecruteak_gym\leader and fogbadge_obtain then face morty again

if you cant get something because you did the sequence before a patch added the reward just cheat it in, this sort of thing is why you can edit saves

I understand but still I disagree, getting it the normal way is more fun and feels much more like you actually had to do something for it.
By editing the file and do re-do the gym feels much better than just giving it to yourself. Or is it just me?

Yup. I know. It feels boring.
Plus you'll get some extra xp by re-doing it, so you won't see me complaining.

ok i have been going through different forums and none of them are in my language lol, how do i get to my save folder? when i open up the pokemon folder and dig around i see nothing like described?

You found the folder with the launcher in it right?
the file path from there is /folder with launcher/Pokemon/Save/<save name>/

it has content, maps, scripts, app sharp game library, lua51, luainterface, and pokemon. when i try to open pokemon it says invalid start parameters

Have you not started the game yet?
To play the game run Pokemon3d.exe not Pokemon.exe

yeah, i have been playn the game for a long time now i always go to this site and click download launcher and go from their. i dont have pokemon3d.exe in my folder

pokemon3d.exe is not in the same folder as pokemon.exe
it should be in the folder above it
pokemon.exe is the game itself and can only be started by using the launcher which is pokemon3d.exe

ok so i think i figured it out.. so just add {220|1} to my items?
